Portions of the Member's information is primarily used to establish an account with IMN the assignment of a unique Information NumberT specific to the Member. IMN requires a minimum of an accurate email address to forward your new Information Number and password. Furthermore, IMN may use the registration information to contact Members about future notices about our company, services, renewal fees, updates on future upgrades to software and promotional materials. Note that this information is private and IMN has no intentions of sharing this information with marketers or advertisers. IMN's service is designed to allow Members to distribute personal and business related information about themselves via the exchange of Information NumbersT to associates, friends, customers and businesses. IMN allows Members a means to review Users who have retrieved Member information at Info Manager and manage what information should be disclosure or terminated as deem necessary. The extent of distributing information will be entirely within the province of the Member. IMNLink.com has not currently setup cookies for Member convenience but may choice to enable cookies to automate Member login for easy access in the future. IMN has taken the necessary security measures to protect Member's contact data from spammers trying to download contact information using creative programming algorithms. The Member can also take necessary steps in preventing unsolicited information during the registration process by selecting notification prior to release of information. This process will allow the Member to view who has requested their information at the 'Info Manager' link in their Control Panel. The Member can either release or terminate any unwanted solicitation. IMN has also taken the necessary security measures to protect against loss, alterations and misuse of information online under IMN's control. Proprietary identifiable information is stored in a secured operating environment not accessible by the general public. Identifiable information is password protected allowing only the Members access. Each Member selects their own password to allow for login and access to viewable screens for alteration and management of information. To terminate membership, Members can either let the subscription period expire or contact IMN at: support@IMNLink.com requesting removal of all identifiable information associated with the Member. IMN will not reimburse or prorate any membership fees associated with joining IMN's service. Members also have direct access to their information and may delete all or edit portions there of. When our registration process asks for sensitive information such as credit card numbers or possibly social security numbers, that information is encrypted and is protected. If a Member elects to use our service for informing a friend about IMN' service, we ask them for the friend name and email address. IMN will automatically send the friend a brief description of our service and inviting them to visit our site using you, the Member as the referral. We send both Users and Members updates about our site and service announcements regarding our features. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate issues relating to their account via email. Our Members are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, our registration has an 'opt-out' mechanism so Members can easily return to the Home page without any information being saved or used by IMN at a later date. Members of our service are always notified when their information is being collected by any outside parties. We do this so Members can make an informed choice as to whether they should proceed with services that require an outside party, or not. This site collects online proprietary information, our site does not ask any age-related questions that would or would not disqualify anyone from using the site. The only required information to retrieve an Information NumberT is an e-mail address, user designated password and depending on the membership selection, a credit card. In the case of children using an Information NumberT, it is recommended that a parent establish the registration and password for their children who are under 18 years of age. IMN does not persuades a child's participation under the age of 81 years. Any parent can, by entering the child's Information NumberT and password, review and delete the child's personal information, and refuse to permit further collection or use of the child's information. The Federal Register notice accompanying the Child Privacy Act makes clear that schools can act as parents' agents or as intermediaries between Web sites and parents in the notice and consent process. With IMN's Basic Membership service, receiving an Information NumberT is free.
