There are two different features associated with IMN’s Abuse Reporting: |
| 1) |
Reporting an Abuser (ref. Info Manager image)
If someone has requested your information without consent, IMN provides a feature called “Abuse”. If you report an individual, IMN has created algorithms that will detect patterns of Abuse. If the individual is determined to be an Abuser, IMN will terminate their Membership.
| |
| To report an Abuser goto: |
| a) Info Manager page |
| b) Click on the individual to report and open the Info Manager Release page |
| c) Click “Abuse Report” |
| d) Follow the remaining steps |
| 2) |
Reported as an abuser
If you are reported as an Abuser, you will be notified by email that you have requested a member’s Information Number™ without consent. You will have 5 days to respond to your email or your account will be frozen.
| |
| To respond as an Abuser goto: |
| a) Login to IMN and click on “Security” at your Welcome page. |
| b) Reply to the Abuse record |
| The individual who report you will receive your reply and either accept or reject it. If rejected, IMN has created algorithms that will determine if you are a repetitive abuser, if so your membership will be terminated. |
